My Final Outcome

In my Final Outcome I have been inspired by Peter Grego, Sophie Calle and Nick Fancher. I really liked their photography and their use of different mediums to give a really interesting and cool effect. I chose to use their work as I had ideas of how I would incorporate it into my own and use their styles to create my pieces.

To edit my film I used Premier Pro and first imported the clips so that I would be able to cut them down and use them for my project. I then cropped parts of the clips so that none of the surroundings were in my film. I did this a few times to get the film I wanted and added some reverse and speed to a couple of the clips. Once I had done this, I added a photo of old paper from Google and decreased the opacity of it so that the film looked old. I added an image of a bisexual flag on top and decreased the opacity of that too so it appeared that the flag was lit onto my model. Then I rendered my clips and added a song on top (Only The Brave by Louis Tomlinson) and I was finished!

I decided that as well as a film, I also wanted to do a series of two photos that linked to my theme. Here you can see my use of face paint, influenced by Peter Grego, my use of projections, influenced by Sophie Calle, and my use of colourful lights, influenced by Nick Fancher.

To edit my photos, I used Adobe Photoshop and first imported the 2 images that I wanted to work with. I increased the brightness on all of them so they weren't so dark because I don't want the photos to appear gloomy. Once I had done that, I added layers where I decreased the opacity and added more colour to the lights to make them pop.
