Development Two

My Plan

Within my development I hope to...

1. combine influences from each of my 3 chosen artists

2. make sure my work is about my theme

3. include my own research and ideas

My second try at this is in Development 2.  I will create a series of three edited photos of a projected message on my brother with lights coming at them.

Taking my Photos

In this photoshoot I intend to...

Get my brother to model for me since he is bi :)

I will need a DSLR camera and a projector so that I can put an image onto him.,

I do not need to take photos in a specific place but I will need to take them on a plain background so the projection shows up the best it can.

I will use the compositional rule of centre eye dominant when taking my photos.

To edit my photo of my model I opened it in Adobe Photoshop and changed the brightness and contrast to give it a cooler look. Then I added a layer and changed the opacity down, using the paintbrush tool to add pink to one side of the image. I added another layer and repeated this until I was happy with the pink side. After I had done this, I re-did the steps but instead of pink I used blue. Once I was pleased with how it looked, I added a final layer and added some purple in the middle to make it all more cohesive.

Review

How has it gone?

I think it has gone very well and I am very happy with it.

What are you pleased about?

I am pleased with the editing - I think I did a pretty good job and I also think my model did a really good job too.

In my next Development

To make my next development work even better I need to:

Keep doing: Good editing and telling models what to do

Do less of: Not knowing how to use a projector.

Do more of: More photos!!
