My Final Outcome
In my Final Outcome I have been inspired by the photographers Sebastian Magnani, Suzanne Saroff and Alberto Seveso. I also liked the idea of exploring reflections and distortion in my work.

To edit my film I used Premier Pro and first I opened the footage of the ink dropping into the water and some other photos that I wanted to use and had already taken. Then I started editing the ink into the glass of my development 3 photo. I couldn't get rid of the background around the ink so I changed the visibility of the layer to overlay to try and make the background less noticeable. Then I started using the speed settings and I reversed the ink so it dropped in and then went back out of the glass again. Then I used a photo that I had taken for my development 1 with the mirror and I just edited the ink to go over the image but I turned down the opacity so that you could still see the photo underneath. I also changed the speed of the ink so it dropped in slow-motion over the photo. Next I just inserted a clip of the ink dropping into the water on its own but I slowed down the speed using the speed/duration option. Then I used a background photo that I had taken for my development 2 and I cut out the shape of the mirror and put the video underneath the photo so that you could only see the ink inside the mirror. I had to make the video underneath smaller to fit right in the mirror. I did this to recreate my development 1 but in film. using the speed option on the toolbar I reversed the footage and then put it back to normal so the ink dropped into the mirror, started reversing back out and then dropped back in again. Next I used photos that I had already taken for my development 3 and I put the ink above the photo but lowered the opacity so that you could still se the photo but also the ink flowing over the top of the video. Next I uploaded a photo from my development 3 but without the ink in the two glasses, and I used the footage of the ink twice to make the ink drop inside both glasses at the same time. With one of the glasses I slowed down the speed of the ink to 50 and in the other I let it play normally for 2 seconds and then copied the footage and put it next to that bit but I reversed the speed of the ink so that the ink reversed out of the glass. To finish the video I just put the footage of the ink on it's own but I faded the end using the effects tool and in the section video transitions- dissolve I used the dip to black tool and I placed it where I wanted the video the start fading. I used the website Uppbeat to find the music I used in this video. I downloaded the music I wanted and dragged it onto my video so that it would play with it.

I have been really pleased with how some of the clips where I reversed and slowed down the speed turned out. I am pleased with how I managed to edit well with Premier Pro as I had not really used it before
