My Response to [Hamid Rastins's work
My Response Plan
To respond to the work of Hamid Rastins, I intend to take and edit photos in Photoshop OR record and edit my own film in Premier Pro.
My work will link to my artist because I will also be taking photographs in Iran.
I will need to travel to Iran
The equipment I need will be my mobile phone to take photographs.
Do you need to take your photos/film at a specific location, or with a specific background? In Iran
I will include the compositional rules and formal elements of fill the frame and rule of thirds.
This will link to my theme because these pictures are taken in Iran and my heritage is from Iran

My Three Photoshop Edits/ My Edited Film Response

To edit my photo of 3 different sunsets combined I opened it in Adobe Photoshop and began by cropping up three photographs and then placing the pictures in the right order that I want to the size of the image and then I was done. I did not add any editing to the original photographs, as they all naturally had vibrant colours.
To edit the photo of the Azadi tower I opened it in my iPhone camera roll and edited it beginning with turning up the exposure a little bit, then taking up brilliance to 46 and bringing highlights down just a tiny bit, after that, I brought brightness down to -10 and turned up black point to 83 and finally turned up the warmth to 35.All of these things allowed for my photograph to have an enhanced sunset background inspired by my chosen photographer Hamid Rastin.
For the landscape of Tehran photo, I opened it in my iPhone camera roll and firstly began by putting a filter over the original photograph called noir so that the picture is monochrome just like how my photographer has done . I then brought down exposure to -37. Then I brought down highlights to -39 then shadows to -73, and contrast up to 23, and then brightness to 9 and finally, I turned up the sharpness to 30.
Which edit do you feel has been the most successful and why (link this to your photographers and theme)?
I feel that my third edit was the most successful as the location is the same as my chosen photographer and the image style is the same has a monochrome filter.
