My Response to Paul Reiffer's work
My Response Plan
To respond to the work of Paul Reiffer, I intend to take and edit photos in Photoshop OR record and edit my own film in Premier Pro.
My work will link to my artist because I will also take the photographs in my home country and also my current living country.
I will need to travel to urban locations for these photographs.
The equipment I need will be my phone.
Do you need to take your photos/film at a specific location, or with a specific background? At the sea or in the mountains.
I will include the compositional rules and formal elements of rule of thirds.
This will link to my theme by home relating to me displaying my home country through these photographs that i intend to take .

My Raw photographs/ footage; Contact Sheet
13 unedited photographs OR your raw filmed clips (no need to do 13!)

My Three Photoshop Edits/ My Edited Film Response

To edit my photo of natural landscape I opened it in Adobe Photoshop and I turned down brightness to -16 and contrast to -14 I then turned up the exposure to enhance the clouds in the photograph and finally used the colour balance tool and masked a layer mixture of can , magenta and blue so that my edit was similar to the colour palette of Paul Reiffer's photography.
To edit the second photo I opened it in Adobe Photoshop and I began by turning up the contrast to 29 so that any colours in the picture would stand out and then I slightly brought down the exposure and saturation then brought up vibrancy I finally used the colour balance tool and added magenta and blue toboverlay the image which then further matches the colours used in Paul Reiffer's photography.
For the final photo, I opened it in Adobe Photoshop and turned down brightness ton-25 and then turned up exposure and gamma correction so that the sunlight and clouds could show their colours and then finally I used colour balance and added magenta over the entirety of the image.
Which edit do you feel has been the most successful and why (link this to your photographers and theme)? I think that my first picture was most successful due to the colour scheme matching Paul Reiffer's work the most and the clouds and scenery fit the idea of where Paul Reiffer also takes his photos at.
