Development Two
My Plan
Within my development I ho my two artists work , North Borders and Hamid Rastin .
1. combine influences from each of my 3 chosen artists
2. make sure my work is about my theme
3. include my own research and ideas
My first try at this is in Development 2. I will create...
an edited photo of an image in the style of North Borders work in the back ground then a glass ball in the image and a photo in the style of Hamid Rastin's work edited within the glass ball.
i also did video of the same work concept as my first photograph but also with paint coming through in the background of the image.
Taking my Photos/Footage
In this Photo/Filmshoot I intend to...
Do you need any specific people to model, or objects to photograph? Why have you chosen them? I will need a glass ball.
What equipment do you need? (DSLR Camera, Tripod, Macro Lens, Studio Lighting etc.) And why have you chosen to use these? I will need to use my phone to take photographs.
Do you need to take your photos at a specific location, or with a specific background?Images in iran and England
What compositional rules or formal elements are you intending on using when taking your photos? Shape and form as I have used a glass sphere ball.

My Outcome
To edit my photo I opened it in Adobe Photoshop and I added an image of a glass ball being held onto the image I then used the object selection tool to select the object then pressed enter. I then aligned an image over the glass ball and pressed the layer mask button. I then changed the blending mode on the photo so that it showed through clearly . Finally i cropped the image so that the edge of the hand was at the edge of the image.
To edit my film I opened it in Adobe Photoshop and Premier Pro .First i opened it up in photoshop and lined up my images. I then placed and image of the glass ball being held over the chosen background image. Then I positioned the image that I wanted inside the glass ball and then used the object select tool on the glass ball and pressed the layer mask button. Then I changed the blending mode so that the image showed through clearly. I saved the outcome and opened it up in premier pro. I then added the video of paint and sized it to the image size. I then brought down the opacity slightly and changed the blending mode so that the paint was visible in the background.

I think it has gone successfully.
What are you pleased about?
I am pleased that I have in cooperated the paint coming in as i can then develop that concept further towards my final piece.
In my next Development
To make my next development work even better I need to:
Keep doing: ink coming in through the picture.
Do less of: similar backgrounds.
Do more of: use of artists and glass balls.
