Development Three

My Plan

Within my development I hope to...

1. combine influences from each of my 3 chosen artists

2. make sure my work is about my theme

3. include my own research and ideas

My first try at this is in Development 3. I will create a short video.

Taking my Photos

In this photograph I intend to take elements from Sophie Calle and Lindsay Adler's work.

I will need a model, perhaps wearing some statement jewellery such as rings. They will also need to be wearing black clothing in order for the images to be projected onto them.

I will need a DSLR camera, a light ring with coloured gels and a projector. I will require these because my two artists use these in their work.

I will need to take my photographs in the studio booth, I will need a plain background.

I will intend to use the compositional rules and formal elements of contrast, tone and colour. This is to highlight the specific attributes of my chosen photographers.

My Outcome

To edit my videos for my development three, I opened it in Premier Pro and uploaded my different videos. I cropped down the videos to eliminate any unnecessary footage. I reversed a video by using the 'speed/duration' option and then I reversed the speed of the chosen video. This creates a 'boomerang' effect. I then altered the speed of the video to match my selected song. I then shifted all of videos to rearrange the order they are in so the video flows more.

Review

What are you pleased about? It has gone well and I am pleased about how the video came out.
