My Three Edits

Editing process:
To edit this photo I opened it in photoshop and cropped it so that only background that could be seen contained the projected image. I then adjusted the brightness and contrast as in the process of projecting the photos, there is a variation in colour in to the original colour due to there being excess light in the surroundings.

I think that the framing using the yellow circle in this photo is really striking. However, if I were to retake this photo I would rethink the clothing choice as in the original photo the artist took the purple reflection is seen on the figures body.
Editing Process:
To begin editing this photo I imported the red version of the photo in to photoshop as this would act as the background in the photo. In then, one by one, imported the different colours creating a mask of Jess as this enabled me to just have her face rather than the black background in every photo. I then began to place them on top of one another adjusting the opacity to create the blur/glitch effect between the photos. To finish this piece I adjusted the brightness and contests as when taking the pictures the colours were appeared fairly dark as I used a low aperture as I didn’t want any excess light behind her.

I really liked how this edit turned out. I think that the fade between each layer went successfully however if i were to repeat this edit again I would make sure that I ensured some of the lighter colours appeared as bright.
In order to edit this photo I cropped out any background which didn’t have any projection and then I changed the brightness and contrast In order to emulate the colours .

I love how Ava’s face has been framed in the orange circle but if I were to improve this edit I would have changed the pose to something more similar to Fancher’s original work.
