Within my development, I hope to show my viewer the way facial expressions change when someone experiences different types of emotion. In this development, I will be focusing on the emotions of sadness and happiness. 

I will be taking inspiration from Agnes Grochulska, Carli Ihde and Juca Maximo to create a piece where I use facial expression and colour to convey the emotions of my subject.

The format of my artwork is a rotoscope inspired by Carli Ihde however I will be using Agnes Grochulska’s painting style. Furthermore, I will be creating an outline around my subject in different colours to reflect the emotions depicted by her facial expression. I will also include scribbles like Juca Maximo to portray the confusing thoughts that we experience every day and the fact that even though we may be smiling on the outside our thoughts may not reflect this. I will be using Photoshop to separate all the frames and paint over each one using a larger, thicker sized brush.
